Al Carman honored by Santa Cruz County Volunteer Center with 2015 Be the Difference Award

Over the past 10 years, Al has been a volunteer for Santa Cruz County Score serving as marketing chair and chapter chair among other roles. Under the leadership of people like Al, SCORE continues to be a valued resource for educating and mentoring small businesses and entrepreneurs. He has continued relationships with SBDC, KSCO, Think Local First, county government, and local chambers to help create an environment that promotes SCORE’s goal of creating small businesses to sustain the local economy. Besides SCORE, he supports Shared Adventures of Santa Cruz. Al is a dedicated community volunteer, improving the quality of life for small business owners as well as people with disabilities.
